Located in northern Poland, Dzialdowo Castle was built in the early 1300s by the Teutonic Knights. The castle was involved in several battles between Teutonic, Prussian, Polish, and Lithuanian forces, finally becoming part of the Duchy of Prussia in the mid 1400s. The castle is square shaped with a large tower at the west corner and a smaller tower at the north. The bailey is enclosed on three sides with buildings three stories high. The northwest side contains the gatehouse. |
My reconstruction of Dzialdowo Castle is 22 1/2 inches long, 22 1/2 inches wide (72 x 72 studs) and is about 19 inches high. For more photos of my reconstruction of Dzialdowo Castle
